History:
In 1952, Jack Filanc founded J.R. Filanc Construction Company (then known as Weardco Construction) together with his original partners, Dean Wearda, Bob Butler, and Barney Daxon. The company began with a humble equity position of $3,000 per partner. In 1982, after years of successful growth, Jack bought out the other partners and moved the company to San Diego County. With a local corporate headquarters, Filanc has an additional office in Phoenix, Arizona.
